New Build Three Storey Property
This was a substantial new build property on the site of an existing bungalow that was demolished as part of the contract. The site was sloping from front to back meaning that the front was two storey, whilst the rea was three storey. Achieving this required an in-situ concrete frame supporting structure with substantial waterproofing measures and the diversion of an existing culvert that still now runs under the new property. The superstructure of the property was a traditional construction to the front elevation with a curved steel work frame to support the rear three storey section, clad with brickwork and large section glazing. Internally the property was fitted out with underfloor heating, timber/kardean flooring throughout with curved and straight glazing to balconies and staircases. We, the client and the architect were thrilled with the completed build.
