PROJECT
Replacement Dwelling
OVERVIEW
This project involved the demolition of an existing bungalow and the construction of a substantial bespoke detached home built using traditional brick and block methods. The structure features a hollow core precast concrete first floor, full-property insulation, and underfloor heating throughout.
Externally, the house is defined by colour-coded aluminium windows and a dramatic 6.5-metre-high glazed entrance screen, crowned by two feature rooflights that flood the full-height hallway with natural light.
Internally, the property showcases oak internal doors, tiled flooring throughout, and a striking floating staircase crafted from oak and glass. At the rear, a single-storey section includes a fiberglass warm deck roof, a flat rooflight, and glazed handrails that frame a stylish viewing terrace.
